A Qatar Airways Boeing 777F cargo plane landed at Jinan Yaoqiang International Airport for the first time on July 16, marking the launch of the "Jinan-Doha-London" all-cargo route.
The route, jointly operated a Shandong international logistics development company called Glory and Qatar Airways, offers two weekly flights, primarily transporting cross-border e-commerce goods, with each flight carrying approximately 100 metric tons of cargo.
The launch of the route bolsters Shandong province's direct air logistics channels to Europe and the Middle East and enhances the international influence of Jinan Yaoqiang International Airport.
To ensure the first flight went smoothly, the logistics center and the airline worked closely together, optimizing support processes and improving efficiency. Both parties engaged in-depth discussions to strive for the best service possible.
Jinan Yaoqiang International Airport will continue to expand its market, strengthen its route network, and improve services as it seeks to make a greater contribution to the construction of the city into an aviation hub.
