The grand opening of China's ice and snow tourism product showcase occurred on Aug 27 in Harbin, capital of China's northernmost Heilongjiang province.
Over 100 representatives from various member units of the China Ice and Snow Tourism Promotion Alliance, tourism ambassadors, industry representatives, and delegates from tourism destinations participated in the event.
During this showcase, the China Ice and Snow Tourism Promotion Alliance unveiled the list of "Preferred Ice and Snow Tourism Destinations" within the alliance. Representatives from nine member units of the alliance introduced products from their respective provinces, autonomous regions, and municipalities.
The alliance aims to establish the Northern Ice and Snow tourism brand by integrating premium resources across China and launching tourism routes.
Tourists' yearning and enthusiasm for ice and snow experiences are apparent. Heilongjiang's tourism has been improving, and Harbin has gained popularity beyond borders, ensuring a continuous peak season for China's ice and snow tourism.
The alliance is committed to fostering regional collaboration, industry cooperation, and cultural integration by focusing on resource endowment, regional characteristics and collaborative growth.
