Grand festivity unites all: Hinggan League Naadam Festival begins

Amidst the breathtaking beauty of the Ulan Maodu Grassland, 100,000 tourists and local farmers and herders gathered in Horqin Right Wing Front Banner of Hinggan League in Inner Mongolia autonomous region on July 17 to mark the grand opening of the 2024 Hinggan League Naadam Festival.

This year's celebration will run until Aug 18.

During the festival, attendees can look forward to over 100 vibrant activities in four main categories: opening and closing ceremonies, cultural and artistic performances, sports competitions, and tourism experiences.

Each day promises something new and exciting, such as traditional Naadam experiences, a grassland carnival night, and live equestrian performances.

In addition to these daily highlights, various enterprises will host exhibitions showcasing products, automobiles, gourmet foods, and intangible cultural heritage. These events will display the unique charm of Hinggan League's ecology, culture, sports, tourism, and economy.
