The ongoing 21st China Changchun International Auto Expo opened in Changchun, Jilin province, on July 13 – with visitors pouring in to catch the very latest in auto developments and action.
The 10-day event features 124 exhibitors and 1,100 vehicles, including fuel cars and new energy vehicles in the shape of passenger cars, commercial vehicles and special vehicles. The expo boasts 85 international A-level display stands, with top participants like BMW, Mercedes-Benz, China FAW Group and GAC Group.
Twelve brands, including Lotus and BYD Fangchengbao, are making their debut at the high-profile extravaganza.
Several manufacturers will unveil new models there, including the ultra-luxurious Hongqi Golden Sunflower series, Lamborghini's latest supercar, and the Durant Guild Pure Electric Hummer – marking their first appearance in Northeast China.
The expo will also showcase advancements in autonomous driving, operating systems, chips, lidar and in batteries.
The organizers say that visitors can enjoy thrilling interactive experiences such as BYD's intelligent street and Huawei's "Home of the Future," as well as new exhibits from FAW Bestune in the outdoor area.
The event runs from 9:00 am to 4:30 pm, with free post-expo activities at Zhongtie Changchun Expo City.
The expo also includes roundtable meetings, high-level conferences, the Belt and Road Business Roadshow, the Hongqi Fans Carnival and Auto Expo Night.
The events aim to boost confidence in the automotive industry and consumer market, enhancing the quality of life of folks through "Auto Expo+" initiatives and supporting the high-quality development of related industries in the Changchun economic circle.
