Against the backdrop of a rapid recovery in global civil aviation, the demand for aircraft maintenance continues to rise. According to statistics, in the first half of this year, Xiamen Customs supervised the entry and exit of 211 aircraft for maintenance, maintaining its leading position nationwide. Previous data indicated that in the first quarter of this year, Xiamen Customs supervised the entry and exit of 106 aircraft for maintenance, also securing the top spot nationwide.
Li Zhenglin, the general manager of Xiamen Aviation Industry Co Ltd, mentioned that Xiamen has gathered nine internationally renowned professional aviation maintenance companies, including Taikoo Xiamen Aircraft Engineering Co Ltd, with 80 percent of orders coming from overseas.
Currently, Xiamen's aviation maintenance industry has established an all-in-one aviation maintenance industry layout, with aircraft structural overhaul as the core, supported by engine, aviation electrical, and other aircraft component maintenance, aircraft component manufacturing, and aviation technical training. It covers the highest level of maintenance services in the industry, with a complete range of commercial types and import-export models, demonstrating outstanding business representation and leading positions in both the national and Asia-Pacific regions.
