Investment opportunities galore in NW China's Gansu

The 30th China Lanzhou Investment and Trade Fair, themed "Sharing Opportunities, Seeking Development, Creating Prosperity," opened in Gansu's Lanzhou on July 6, 2024.

This year's Lanzhou Investment and Trade Fair has established several sections, including the Silk Road International Cooperation Zone, Regional Cooperation and Exchange Zone, Gansu Special Advantage Industry Zone, attracting the participation of over 2,200 companies from more than 30 countries and regions.

As an important platform for Gansu's opening-up to the world, the Lanzhou Fair has created more business opportunities for domestic and foreign merchants to deepen connections and achieve mutual benefits, injecting greater dynamism into Gansu's deep integration into the Belt and Road Initiative.

Following the opening ceremony, a significant project signing ceremony was held. A total of 1,325 investment cooperation projects were signed at this year's fair, with a total contract value of 603.95 billion yuan ($83.07 billion). These projects cover areas such as new energy and equipment manufacturing, metallurgy and non-ferrous metals, digital information, petrochemicals, specialty agricultural products, and food processing.
