The Museum of Art Pudong (MAP) in Shanghai celebrated its third anniversary on July 8 with the theme "Shine in MAP". The museum has welcomed nearly 2 million visitors over the past three years, establishing itself as a global art hub.
Since its establishment, the museum has formed strong partnerships with top international art institutions and artists to host numerous high-quality exhibitions and educational activities.
In addition to exhibitions, recent activities included raffles, music performances, and modern dance shows, along with the launch of third-anniversary limited edition souvenirs.
In the past year, the museum presented nine major exhibitions and one international children's art education exhibition, earning it the title of "Most Humanly Attractive Museum of 2023".
The museum's children's art training program, in collaboration with the United Kingdom's Tate Gallery, has engaged with over 3,000 participants, showcasing young talent on an international stage. Additionally, the museum has held over 100 public education activities over the past year, attracting nearly 100,000 participants.
The museum's cultural and creative team has developed nearly 300 types of products, creating an enhanced visitor experience. Looking ahead, MAP plans to collaborate with more top museums and artists worldwide, including the Tate Gallery and France's Orsay Museum, to present diverse international art exhibitions and promote Shanghai's cultural exchange.
