2024 Computing Power Internet Conference to kick off in Liangjiang

The 2024 Computing Power Internet Conference (Chongqing) is set to take place in Liangjiang New Area from July 10 to 11.

The event will feature a range of important activities, including the AI large model innovation development forum, a closed-door AI large model investment consultation meeting, and several sub-forums focusing on key topics such as computing power identification and networking, innovative applications of computing power internet, and the development of distributed computing power across cloud, edge, and end.

A highlight of the conference will be the unveiling of the National Computing Power Internet Platform. The event will also launch Western China's first interconnected platform and introduce Chongqing's first-ever "Computing Power Voucher" policy.

These initiatives aim to explore the development of a new computing power internet system, accelerate the innovative application of AI large models, and promote the deep integration of digital technology, computing power infrastructure, and the real economy, according to a local official.

The official added that the overarching goal is to empower technological innovation through computing power infrastructure and foster new productivity through digital transformation, thereby enhancing and expanding China's digital economy.

The AI large model innovation development forum will invite academicians, experts, and industry guests from both local and international spheres to discuss core topics such as local product supply, research and development of common technology, innovation in application scenarios, policy support, talent cultivation, and industrial development.
