On July 9, the Lin-gang Special Area Administration signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Malaysia's Cyberview Sdn Bhd (Cyberview), Skyvast Sdn Bhd (Skyvast), and Shanghai Lin-gang Special Area International Data Port (SHIDP), to launch the "Digital Twin Cities" project.

The MoU outlines collaboration in eight key areas, including industrial cooperation in the data economy, cross-border data exchange, bidirectional investment, connectivity, and policy support.

The partnership aims to leverage the geographical, industrial, and policy advantages of both Lin-gang and Cyberjaya in Malaysia, along with the technical resources of relevant Chinese and Malaysian enterprises, to create a new model for international data business cooperation.
