Hua Yan (1682-1756), a prominent figure of the Yangzhou School of Painting during the mid Qing Dynasty (1644-1911), was renowned for his versatility in painting figures, landscapes and birds and flowers.
The Guangdong Museum has launched an art exhibition of Hua Yan, featuring 36 exquisite works that showcase the full spectrum of his artistic journey.
