Guizhou Ethnic Grand Gala staged in Guanshanhu

The 2024 Guizhou Ethnic Grand Gala · Summer Revelry took place at Guanshanhu Park in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, on July 6.

The event was divided into two major sections: the daytime water dragon revelry and the nighttime full-throttle carnival.

During the day, the water dragon parade became the focal point of the entire venue, with the blue and red teams engaging in a water-splashing frenzy.

Locals and tourists, donning raincoats and wielding water guns, joyfully indulged in the refreshing experience amidst lively music. Meanwhile, splendid performances by ethnic music bands brought further joy to the scene.

As night fell, the event transitioned into a full-throttle carnival, with ethnic groups showcasing their song and dance performances one after another, leaving the audience spellbound.

Throughout the event, the bustling trunk market and craft beer stalls were in full swing, offering a wide array of goods that intrigued visitors, who shopped for goods and enjoyed delicious food.
