Jinan launches 1st 'comedy bus' in Shandong

Shandong's first "comedy bus" was recently launched in Jinan, capital of Shandong province. The unique bus combines city sightseeing, cultural performances, and interactive experiences, offering an extraordinary comedic journey for tourists.

The "comedy bus" features distinctive exterior and interior designs, with comedy elements integrated throughout.

During the ride, passengers can enjoy immersive commentary on scenic spots by artists of the Mahua Fun Age, participate in interactive performances, and watch skit exhibitions.

The 50-minute trip includes stops at notable sites such as Baotu Spring, Furong Street, and Daming Lake. An artist playing the role of Xin Qiji (1140-1207) from the Southern Song Dynasty (1127-1279) will make a mysterious appearance, joining passengers on the bus as they travel through time.

During the bus ride, actors perform excerpts from immersive historical stage plays centered on Jinan's Jiaxuan culture, allowing passengers to feel Xin's patriotic spirit and the rich historical heritage of Jinan.

The "comedy bus" is an upgraded product of Jinan's cultural tourism bus and an innovative fusion of the cultural tourism and theatre industries. It aims to spread Jinan's culture and better serve tourists.
