Suzhou recognized as innovative city for business environment

Suzhou continues to enhance its reputation as "the most business-friendly" city by benchmarking against pioneering practices from Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen, and other national pilot cities in business environment innovation.

On July 3, China Media Group released the "2023 Urban Business Environment Innovation Report," listing Suzhou among the cities recognized for its innovative business environment in 2023.

Since 2018, Suzhou has annually updated its policies to optimize the business environment. In July 2023, the city launched the "Suzhou Action Plan for Business Environment Innovation 2023," hailed as "Business Environment 6.0 Suzhou Style."

In February this year, Suzhou hosted a conference to further bolster its "most comfortable" service brand, aiming to establish itself as a city of innovation, entrepreneurship, and wealth creation. In March, the "Ten Policies for Optimizing Suzhou's Business Environment in 2024" were officially implemented.

Suzhou's selection as an innovative city for business environment is attributed to significant improvements in innovation elements and enhanced public services.

The city has fully implemented the 10 policy measures for 2024, emphasizing market-oriented reforms, legal safeguards, and international standards alignment. These efforts aim to attract more talents, enterprises, and capital to Suzhou, solidifying its status as a preferred destination for business and innovation.
