The project is one of the country's 15 key projects and its first large-scale, modern nitrogen fertilizer complex production project which mainly produces synthetic ammonia, urea, nitric acid, and ammonium nitrate, using advanced international technologies and Chinese equipment and standards.
It will fill Kazakhstan's domestic fertilizer gap, improve the level of its basic and chemical industries, and significantly contribute to the country's economic transformation.
The Wuhuan Engineering Co, based in the Wuhan East Lake High-tech Development Zone (also known as Optics Valley of China, or OVC), is a State-owned leader in the field of chemical design and construction. The company has completed over 3,000 large and medium-sized design projects and 300 EPC projects, including over 200 overseas projects in Vietnam, Zambia, and Tunisia.
