Shanghai Hongqiao Intl Airport ranks ninth in passenger traffic

Shanghai Hongqiao International Airport recorded a passenger throughput of about 4.06 million this May, securing the ninth spot among China's major airports.

Over the first five months of this year, the airport's total passenger count reached nearly 19.6 million.

Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport led the national ranking with a passenger throughput of about 6.01 million in May and a total passenger count of 30.88 million from January to May.
