A promotional tourism event for the 2024 graduation season was held on June 30 in Tai'an. The special cultural tourism event, designed for students, aims to invite them to climb Mount Tai and explore Tai'an with improved travel conditions, diverse tourism options, and attractive discounts.
Forty-three discount policies covering attractions, hotel stays, and camping sites were announced as part of the event, drawing many student participants.
Highlights included the introduction of Tai'an's mascots "Gangan" and "Dangdang" and the launch of a themed photography competition.
The event also featured a flower arranging competition among university students in Tai'an. Twelve contestants from six universities, including Shandong Agricultural University, Taishan University, and Shandong University of Science and Technology (Tai'an Campus), competed.
In recent years, Tai'an has been bolstering efforts to promote the deep integration of culture and tourism, promoting Mount Tai across the entire region and fostering the comprehensive, year-round development of the cultural tourism industry.
