As the summer season kicks into high gear, Sanya has emerged as one of the most sought-after domestic destinations for family-friendly vacations, securing a spot in the top 10 list, as revealed by the latest data from Tuniu, an online travel service provider.

The data from Tuniu's bookings indicate a strong preference for domestic long-haul trips this year. Leisure escapes and family-oriented travel experiences are particularly popular among travelers, with destinations like Sanya, Guilin, Lijiang, and Zhangjiajie garnering significant attention for their leisure and summer retreat offerings.

During the peak summer travel season, the enthusiasm for family outings is especially high. Among the top 10 most family-friendly destinations in China, Beijing, Sanya, Guilin, Shanghai, Hulunbuir, Nanjing, Zhangjiajie, Guangzhou, Zhuhai, and Qingdao have emerged as ideal holiday spots for families. The surge in bookings for theme parks, water activities, leisure retreats, and educational travel experiences in these destinations is evident.

Sanya recently unveiled 182 themed travel products catering to graduation season and family vacations, gearing up for the summer travel rush. These offerings encompass a wide range of discounted packages, including accommodations, iconic attractions, yacht excursions, culinary delights, water sports, and diverse land, sea, and air travel routes.

Sanya has also introduced the top 10 highest-quality study tour routes for the summer, featuring tropical marine life, rainforests, agriculture, water sports, Li and Miao ethnic cultures, deep-sea technology, and other educational tourism resources.
