Construction on the Hainan International Artifacts Trading Center and the Hainan International Cultural Exchange Center, key cultural landmarks in the Hainan Free Trade Port, is currently in full swing.

The project is located at Sanya Port, with Phoenix Island to the west and overlooking Sanya Bay. Construction on the foundation pit of the project began in July last year, with a scheduled completion date set for 2026.

The trading center, with a total investment of 15 billion yuan ($2 billion), will feature a large exhibition venue, art institutions, artifact shops, artifact trading auctions, multipurpose halls, and integrated functions for offices, exhibitions, conferences, receptions, and private negotiations.

The exchange center, with a total investment of 20 billion yuan, will include a 1,400-seat opera house, a 500-seat multipurpose hall, small theaters, and a public arts experience area.

Both the Hainan International Artifacts Trading Center and the Hainan International Cultural Exchange Center are pivotal projects at the provincial and municipal levels.

After completion, they will serve as the Hainan FTP's coastal reception hall, a significant cultural infrastructure and industrial public service platform in the Sanya Economic Circle, and a cultural landmark in the Hainan FTP.
