The 21st World Brand Summit was held in Beijing on June 19, with the World Brand Lab releasing the 2024 China's 500 Most Valuable Brands report at the stellar event.
In the report, the brand value of auto giant China FAW Group – based in Changchun, capital of Northeast China's Jilin province – came in at a staggering 460.55 billion yuan ($63.38 billion), securing it top spot in the automotive industry for the 21st year running.
FAW's two leading brands also achieved star rankings. Its Hongqi marque was valued at 128.24 billion yuan, ranking it first among passenger car brands. Elsewhere, FAW's Jiefang brand was valued at 131.85 billion yuan, ranking it top of the commercial vehicle brands.
