The 2024 China Green Computing Power (AI) Conference will be held in Hohhot on June 29.
According to the organizers, the event will attract the participation of top national ministry officials, academicians, experts and industry elite to discuss the future of the green computing power industry.
The event will aim to promote high-quality development in the sector – empowering Inner Mongolia's economic growth and contributing to China's overall modernization efforts.
Green computing power and artificial intelligence are widely viewed as being crucial for advancing new quality productive forces and gaining a competitive edge in future development.
As a hub of the national integrated big-data center system, Inner Mongolia is leveraging its resources to significantly develop the green computing power industry.
This is widely said to have led to enhanced policy benefits, increased supply capacity and the region improving the coordination of computing and electricity. What's more, the industry ecosystem is becoming more robust, indicating a positive growth trend.
The conference will feature an opening ceremony, 11 parallel sessions, a themed activity and an AI exhibition.
Currently, Hohhot's server capacity exceeds 1.5 million units, with a total computing power of 23 exaFLOPS – including 21 exaFLOPS of intelligent computing power – ranking it 15th among China's top 20 cities in computing power.
