NETDA's assistance to Chenggu county produces results

The Nantong Economic and Technological Development Area (NETDA) in Jiangsu province has made great achievements in assisting Chenggu county in Shaanxi province, as revealed at the 20th joint conference between NETDA and Chenggu on June 16.

The pairing assistance commenced in 2017, and every year, the two places have inked a strategic cooperation framework agreement to specify the details of their cooperation.

NETDA has operated 176 projects in Chenggu and invested 1.8 billion yuan ($248.12 million) in the county over the past few years. The Nantong area has also sent 121 technicians to the county, hosted over 30 job fairs both onsite and online, and helped 2,720 natives of Chenggu find jobs in Jiangsu province.

Bao Delin, secretary of the Party Working Committee of NETDA, noted at the conference that the Nantong area will continue focusing on industrial collaboration with Chenggu to accelerate industrial transfer, project cooperation and technical exchanges.

Bao added that NETDA will also deepen its cooperation with Chenggu in talent exchanges and consumption support.

Before the conference, the delegation from Chenggu county also visited Yanfeng International Seating Systems Co and Senior Technology Material (Nantong) Co.
