This group of illustrations is inspired by the Tang Dynasty (618-907) poem The Bamboo Hut written by Wang Wei (701-761). The overall tone of the four illustrations is fresh and elegant. Through extensive blank spaces in the background, they create a lively and imaginative atmosphere. The contrast between the sparse and dense bamboo adds a sense of breathability.
