The 2024 Changchun International Optoelectronic Expo opened with a flourish on June 18 in Changchun, Northeast China's Jilin province, showcasing innovations and industry highlights over three days.
This year's expo covers over 70,000 square meters with more than 670 exhibitors, including 18 international companies. The event features over 20 domestic and international academicians and is attracting more than 30,000 professional visitors.
Participating businesses include 39 listed companies, 16 national-level Little Giant enterprises and over 60 specialized and innovative Little Giant enterprises.
Industry leaders in semiconductors – as well as in photonics, aerospace, automotive and telecommunications industries – are well-represented across 13 industry sectors.
The expo is said to offer top-tier service standards, enhancing the overall experience with upgraded hotel services, improved public transportation options and premium-quality dining facilities.
Concurrent events aim to elevate the expo experience, including the Optoelectronic Industry Innovation Development Conference, the Light International Conference, 23 specialized industrial and academic meetings and a talent recruitment fair.
The technological exhibits are widely said to be cutting-edge, showcasing products like MINI-LED 4K TVs, OLED display materials, sixth-generation linear evaporation equipment, OLED thin-film encapsulation materials and display lithography photoresists.
