Thanks to the exceptional services provided by the Wuhan Intelligent Vehicle Software Park in the Wuhan Economic & Technological Development Zone (WEDZ), projects have been completed with remarkable speed.
The Wuhan Neusoft Software Park, for instance, was completed and opened just 18 months after it broke ground. Beijing Zohetec Co, from signing the agreement to achieving full production, took less than half a year. The CECloud Intelligent Computing Center reached full computing capacity within three months of operation.
Founded in 2018, Beijing Zohetec Co is a provider of imaging products and solutions based on computational imaging technology. By the end of 2023, its wholly-owned subsidiary in Wuhan was established. Within less than six months, the Zohetec R&D Center and Central China Regional Headquarters project, with a total investment of 524 million yuan ($73.88 million), was completed and put into use.
Valeo, a global leader in automotive components, is one of the first internationally renowned foreign enterprises to set up operations in the WEDZ. In July 2023, the third phase of the Valeo China Technical R&D Center (Wuhan) officially opened at the Wuhan Intelligent Vehicle Software Park.
"This is Valeo's third investment in the zone. The Wuhan Intelligent Vehicle Software Park focuses on four major intelligent vehicle software fields: autonomous driving, smart cockpits, automotive-grade chips, and vehicle networking, which are highly compatible with our R&D products," said Zhou Zhanfeng, general manager of the center.
Wang Jingjin, a member of the Party work committee of the Modern Service Industrial Park of the zone, stated that WEDZ has established a comprehensive, all-encompassing service system that covers the entire process from project introduction and advancement to enterprise settlement and talent placement.
