A group of 26 international students from Yantai University, representing diverse nationalities such as South Korea, Malaysia and Japan, were recently afforded the opportunity to immerse themselves in the heritage of traditional Chinese medicine at Yantai Baishi Anorectal Hospital in Chefoo district, Yantai.

Lin Lin, director of the Yantai Baishi Anorectal Hospital, orchestrated a knowledge-sharing session on gastrointestinal health tailored for the international students. Throughout the session, students were enlightened on the multifaceted uses of herbs and the principles underlying the association between medicine and food in traditional Chinese medicine. They also underwent thorough pulse and tongue examinations supervised by doctors and were provided with personalized prescriptions.

"This is truly mesmerizing! It feels like witnessing magic," exclaimed one of the international students, captivated by the profound wisdom of traditional Chinese medicine. They eagerly expressed their desire to share this enriching cultural experience with their families back home.
