At the construction site of the Ordos Modern Coal Chemical Innovation Technology Pilot Base in Uxin Banner of Ordos in North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region, over 200 workers are toiling away day and night, creating a bustling scene of non-stop activity.
Yang Wenbo, the person in charge of the construction of the project, stated that preliminary decoration construction is expected to commence on July 1, with 24 units scheduled for completion by July 30.
The project is Inner Mongolia's first innovative technology pilot base and will receive an investment of 450 million yuan ($61.64 million).
It can accommodate testing experiments for 35 projects and 10 innovative coal chemical technology enterprises at once.
The initiative aims to boost investment in industrialization projects to more than 30 billion yuan, focusing on creating a modern coal chemical pilot center serving Inner Mongolia and positively affecting the entire nation.
Bagena, the general manager of Sulige Construction and Development Co, introduced the development model of the base as the "1+1+N+N" model, comprising one research center, one set of policy systems, multiple research institutions, and numerous pilot projects.
By simultaneously developing the base and introducing projects, currently, contracts have been signed for four projects for the base.
