Jinan opens 1st child-friendly park

Jinan's first child-friendly park opened on June 1.

The park is located on the northeast side of the intersection of Ligeng Road and Daxinhe Road in Lixia district and is 10,500 square meters in size.

It features an integrated layout of a loop with two main areas and multiple zones. It includes two painted walking paths, a play trail for all ages and a nature observation trail. The trails connect various areas, such as a children's playground, a shared lawn area, an ecological leisure area, and a parent rest area.

The park also features swings, a basketball court, climbing walls, and a UFO slide, where children can play, learn about plants, and experience nature up close.

To meet the needs of both children and parents, the park is also equipped with facilities such as restrooms and seats.

The child-friendly park is one of the key projects of Jinan's 2024 public service initiatives. It was designed from a child's perspective to enhance their sense of well-being, happiness, and safety.
