Shanxi operates first goods train on China-Europe Railway

The 88332 JSQ goods train, loaded with 290 domestically produced cars, departed from Taiyuan West Railway Station and headed to Moscow at 11:50 am on May 31. This marks the launch of the first goods train from Shanxi province to Moscow.

To ensure safety and efficiency, the train utilizes the JSQ6 type special transport system for cars. Each carriage has two levels and can carry eight to 10 cars, doubling the shipping capacity of traditional containers.

Taiyuan Railway Logistics Center has contacted China Railway Special Cargo Logistics Co to cooperate with Taiyuan North Railway Station and other departments to develop detailed plans for the assembly of goods trains and car loading solutions, as well as optimize transportation processes, so as to help goods trains reach their destinations safely and quickly.
