InterContinental Shanghai Hongqiao NECC wraps up German beer festival

The InterContinental Shanghai Hongqiao NECC recently wrapped up a lively German beer festival from May 23 to 26, offering visitors an authentic taste of Germany in the heart of Shanghai.

The festival recreated Bavarian traditions with blue and white decorations, live music, and a variety of German beers that were brewed by a 500-year-old German brewery.

Guests enjoyed a culinary journey with Austrian chef Alfred Pichler's signature dishes, all of which paired perfectly with the array of German beers that were available. The event aimed to bring a genuine German experience to Shanghai residents and has fostered cultural exchange and community engagement, culminating in shared toasts and cheers of "Prost!"
