The "Nengda Cup" roadshow for scientific innovation projects was recently held in Xi'an, Shaanxi province by the Nantong Economic and Technological Development Area (NETDA).
Cao Yonghong, director of NETDA's talent and technology bureau, said at the event that the industrial development strategy in Xi'an and the development of major industries in NETDA align closely with one another, and the roadshow is expected to further strengthen exchanges and cooperation between the two places.
Li Lin, head of the industrial information technology and commerce bureau of Xi'an New City District, said he hopes that both sides will promote the application of more research results through cross-disciplinary and cross-field cooperation and exchanges.
Chen Huabin from NETDA introduced the development area's economic and social development, innovation industrial parks, and policies on talent and technology.
In recent years, NETDA has been aiming to create a favorable business environment and become a leader in Nantong's efforts to boost industrial development, offer a pleasant natural environment, and integrate its talent, innovation, industrial, and capital resources.
The roadshow in Xi'an has attracted 13 projects involving high-end manufacturing, new-generation information technology, and new materials, which were assessed by experts at Northwestern Polytechnical University, Sanyuan Aviation Science Investment, and other universities and venture capital institutions.
The outstanding projects at the roadshow will have the opportunity to receive subsidies for project startup, house purchasing, and living allowances from Nantong's Jianghai Talent campaign and NETDA's Xinghu Talent Plan.
