The Shanxi Provincial Health Commission Talent Center is hosting the "Turkmenistan Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) Training Course" from May 9 to 23.
The training lasts for 15 days, with a total of 17 medical technicians from Turkmenistan specializing in traditional medicine in attendance. Turkmenian trainees have learned about basic TCM theories, meridians and acupoints, TCM diagnostic methods, and TCM rehabilitation and pharmaceutical health care with a teaching team that consists of experts from the Shanxi University of Chinese Medicine and Shanxi Traditional Chinese Medical Hospital.
In addition to the course, the trainees also went to the Shanxi Acupuncture Hospital and Shanxi Traditional Chinese Medical Hospital to put what they had learned into practice, so as to further consolidate the TCM theories they learned, learn TCM methods to treat common and frequently occurring clinical diseases, and experience their unique efficacy.
The Shanxi Provincial Health Commission Talent Center has hosted the Chinese government's foreign aid training programs for many years. The "Mauritius Healthcare Service Training Course" hosted by the center is also currently taking place in Taiyuan. It will last for 18 days, with a total of 17 Mauritian healthcare management personnel participating.
