The Southwest (Gui'an) Cloud Computing Big Data Center held its groundbreaking ceremony at Longshan Industrial Park in Gui'an New Area, Southwest China's Guizhou province, on April 25.
The center will include 3,000 high-standard server cabinets and adhere to national A-class data center standards, with a total investment of 490 million yuan.
Created by Hongyun Data Group's subsidiary Guizhou Hongyun Data Technology Co, it covers a total construction area of approximately 35,000 square meters.
The center is a response to the national "channeling computing resources from the east to the west" initiative, realizing the optimization of cross-regional data resource allocation from East China and Central China to Southwest China.
The launch of the data center has the potential to not only expand the coverage of Hongyun Data Group's business, but can also reduce energy consumption and lay a solid foundation for the group's development relying on Gui'an's unique climate and abundant wind power, solar energy and hydropower.
As the management entity of Longshan Industrial Park, Gui'an Industrial Development Group provides support for resident enterprises in terms of living facilities, recruitment, and other aspects.
Moving forward, the group will continue to create a favorable business environment, cultivate the development of industrial clusters, improve industrial service levels, and provide high-quality services for enterprises in the park.
