The 2024 Asian Seed Congress is scheduled to take place in Sanya from Dec 2 to 6 and registration has now begun.
This year's event is expected to draw around 1,500 global delegates. The event will feature field trips to the National Modern Agricultural Industrial Park in Sanya, Yazhou Bay Science and Technology City's Industry promotion Center, and Batou Base, with the aim of enhancing participants' understanding of Nanfan Agricultural Silicon Valley in Sanya.
A representative of the China National Seed Trade Association (CNSTA) noted that 2024 marks the 30th anniversary of the Asia and Pacific Seed Association's (APSA) founding.
With China's robust seed industry growth and expanding global impact, the country now plays a key role in advancing the seed sector across the Asia-Pacific region.
Also of note, this year's conference is set to include a new seminar on investment prospects in China, fostering greater collaboration between China and Asia-Pacific nations, and establishing a fresh framework for cooperation and mutual benefits.
The 2024 Asian Seed Congress, led by the APSA and co-hosted by the CNSTA and the Sanya municipal government, stands as a premier global event in the seed industry. Currently, the Asian Seed Congress has evolved into one of the most prominent and largest seed industry events worldwide.
