Kangbashi district in the city of Ordos was selected as a culture and tourism brand recommended site at the 2024 World Brand Moganshan Conference, which took place in Huzhou in East China's Zhejiang province on May 11-12.
It was also part of the first group of culture and tourism brand ambassadors at the conference, introducing its culture and tourism on May 12.
The conference brought together over 4,000 participants including renowned enterprises from around the world, government officials, overseas media outlets, global academic institutions, and industry association representatives, who discussed a variety of topics related to global branding.
Kangbashi district's strength lies in its youthfulness, as 2024 marks the 20th anniversary of its establishment.
The district is known for its grandeur, as since its inception, the builders have seamlessly integrated natural and cultural landscapes, making it the first national environmental art demonstration pilot site.
It is also the first place in China to be named a national 4A-rated tourist attraction based on its core urban landscape.
It has over 300 days of excellent air quality annually, a green coverage rate of approximately 43 percent in the urban area, 2.47 million square meters of ecological water bodies, and an average of 105 square meters of park green space per capita.
Kangbashi is not only livable and business-friendly, but also a hub for tourism and style. It boasts top-tier education, a warm and supportive policy and business environment, and a modern industry focused on digital economy, financial technology, and culture and tourism.
