The Nantong Economic and Technological Development Area (NETDA) recently organized the "Nengda Cup" roadshow for scientific innovation projects at East China University of Science and Technology in Shanghai.
Focusing on new quality productive forces and integration into the Yangtze River estuary, the roadshow attracted over 20 projects and invited experts from Fudan University and Shanghai Jiaotong University, as well as directors of venture capital institutions, to serve as judges.
Cao Haifeng, director of NETDA's management committee, noted before the roadshow that the activity is an important move for the development area to cooperate with Shanghai and is expected to attract more high-profile talent and scientific innovation projects and further strengthen NETDA's innovative development.

Jiang Yumin, head of the Organization Department of NETDA, briefly introduced NETDA. She said that the area is focusing on the development of the new-generation information technology, high-end equipment, pharmaceutical and healthcare, and new energy industries to become the most competitive hub of advanced manufacturing industries in the Yangtze River Delta.
Jiang added that NETDA will continue offering the best environment and services to talent who start businesses here.
To date, the "Nengda Cup" roadshows for scientific innovation projects launched by NETDA in 2018 have been held at universities in Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen, Hangzhou, and other Chinese cities, bringing nearly 200 projects to the area.
