In the first quarter of 2024, the GDP of Northeast China's Heilongjiang province has been officially tallied, revealing a total of 314.56 billion yuan ($43.09 billion), marking a 2.2 percent year-on-year increase.
Within this economic landscape, the added value of the primary industry amounted to 12.76 billion yuan, showing a growth of 2.3 percent; the added value of the secondary industry reached 101.07 billion yuan, experiencing a decline of 3.9 percent; and the added value of the tertiary industry stood at 200.72 billion yuan, reflecting a robust growth of 5.3 percent.
