May has brought the hydrangea flowers at Qingdao International Horticultural Exposition Park into full bloom, the pure white flowers shimmering on the branches.
The hydrangea has been being cultivated in China for thousands of years. The flowers start green before gradually lightening in color, eventually blooming into a pristine white.
The sea of snowball viburnums lining both sides of Xichun Road at the park attract a large number of visitors every year.
