Sanya's 1st gold processing enterprise wins AEO certification

Zijin Gold Technology (Hainan) has recently obtained advanced certification from customs, becoming the first gold processing enterprise in Sanya to receive the Authorized Economic Operator (AEO) certification.

Leveraging the global ore resource advantages of Zijin Mining, the company has strategically positioned itself across the entire gold and jewelry industry chain, accelerating the development of a business model tailored to the characteristics of a free trade port.

Jiang Feng, the company's customs affairs manager, noted that the company's investment in the construction of a gold and jewelry industrial park has successfully passed customs inspection for the bonded processing manual. The company, being an AEO enterprise, is entitled to several facilitation measures that aim to provide significant support and assistance. This support has given them greater confidence in developing and expanding the billion-dollar gold and jewelry industry.

An official from Haikou Customs said that the next step is expected to involve continuing to promote the cultivation and certification of AEO enterprises, enhancing the alignment of internal enterprise management with customs certification standards, allowing more to benefit from additional policy dividends, a more convenient customs clearance experience, and a higher-quality business environment.
