During the May Day holiday on May 1-5, the Huaqing Palace scenic area in Xi'an, capital of Northwest China's Shaanxi province, designed a series of immersive cultural experience activities to showcase the charm of the Tang Dynasty (618-907) to visitors.

The scenic area received over 200,000 visits over the holiday.

During the holiday period, the scenic area launched a cultural interactive activity where individuals who independently recited the full text of the Song of Everlasting Sorrow received a free ticket to the scenic area.

Since its launch, the activity had been warmly embraced by visitors, with guests lining up early each morning to participate.

Additionally, six staff members from Huashan Palace dressed in hanfu appeared randomly throughout the scenic area. They interacted with visitors and presented them with small red flowers. Through this simple and sincere gesture, they expressed their sincerest respect and blessings to the guests.

In addition, 11 interactive performances were staged at the scenic area during the holiday, all of which received applause from visitors.
