A signing ceremony for the international version of the Sino-French co-produced documentary "Mount Tai" was held in Paris, France on May 2.
The documentary will follow a French host as he explores Mount Tai in Tai’an, seeking out the scenic beauty and human stories related to the magnificent mountain and presenting the unique charm of the mountain and of Chinese culture to the world from a more international perspective.
After the program is completed, it will premiere on mainstream television and new media platforms in France, allowing global audiences to appreciate the charm of Mount Tai and further promoting cultural exchanges and mutual learning.
Zhou Shengkuo, chief editor of Shandong Radio, said that following the release of the documentary "Great Mount Tai" in 2023, the Shandong Radio and Television Station will take the new documentary as an opportunity to further strengthen cooperation with foreign counterparts, continuing to use documentaries as an important way to tell good Chinese stories and spread the Chinese voice, presenting a true, three-dimensional, and comprehensive China.
Guillaume Roy, president of the French Flair Media Group, said that Mount Tai has strong symbolic significance for the Chinese people, and that Flair Media Group attaches great importance to the "Mount Tai" documentary project. He expressed a desire to learn more about Mount Tai by filming the documentary and understand China through the mountain.
