Jining's trade with BRI partners surges in Q1

In the first quarter of this year, trade between Jining and Belt and Road partner countries reached 15.39 billion yuan ($2.12 billion), up 54.8 percent from last year.

Over 80 percent of Jining's foreign trade enterprises have business with these countries, with a notable increase of more than 200 companies compared to the same period last year.

Particularly significant is the export of electromechanical products to Belt and Road partner countries, totaling 6.14 billion yuan and accounting for 46.1 percent of the total value of exports to these countries.
