From April 19 to 23, a delegation from Wuxi National Hi-Tech District, also known as Xinwu district, visited South Korea to further consolidate friendship and promote industrial cooperation.
During their visit, the delegation held extensive meetings with several major South Korean companies, including SK Group, LG Chem, Hyundai Mobis, Daesang Corporation, and Samsung, leading to a clearer vision for future collaboration and a reinforced consensus on joint development.

During a meeting on April 22, Cui Rongguo, Party secretary of Xinwu, emphasized that the district is committed to implementing measures to facilitate foreign nationals and providing optimal services and policies to ensure that South Korean companies can successfully construct projects and grow their businesses.
The Xinwu district has attracted over $25 billion in South Korean investment, making it the second-largest recipient of South Korean capital in China. Currently, over 200 South Korean companies have established operations in the district, including key subsidiaries from South Korea's four major conglomerates: Samsung SDI, LG Chem, SK Hynix, and Hyundai Mobis.

South Korean companies have also made significant contributions to social welfare and public services in Xinwu. These investments include the construction of healthcare and educational facilities such as SK Wuxi Hospital and SK Hynix Wuxi Foreign Language Primary School.
