Datong city in North China's Shanxi province organized a promotional event at Datong Tulin Park, a national natural resources science popularization base, in order to celebrate World Earth Day on April 22.
The event aimed to instill the concept of "respecting, adapting to, and protecting nature", thereby continuously improving the quality of Datong's ecological environment.
World Earth Day is dedicated to global environmental protection and serves as a vital platform for raising public awareness on ecological sustainability, as well as disseminating knowledge about Earth science and technology. Through distributing informational materials and on-site explanations, the event educated the public about energy conservation, low-carbon practices, natural resource protection, and utilization policies. They urged everyone to value Earth's resources, actively engage in green, environmentally friendly, and low-carbon consumption and lifestyle patterns, and participate in ecological construction.
Following this, participants, including various community members and local students, explored Tulin Park, witnessing the changes in landscapes and appreciating nature's beauty.
