In preparation for the 9th Asian Winter Games, which will be held in 2025 in Harbin, the capital city of China's northernmost Heilongjiang province, Harbin Metro Group recently convened a "300-Day Countdown to the Asian Winter Games" deployment meeting.
The meeting focused on operational services, safety, and the installation of new electrical lines, among other key tasks.
To date, the metro group has posted over 500 "Dream of Winter, Love among Asia" promotional posters in prominent locations, such as the entrances, exits, and passageways of 70 metro stations.
Utilizing the PIS television screens, LXD carriage screens, and electronic information boards, the metro continuously airs short promotional videos for the Asian Winter Games.
At the Museum of Heilongjiang Province Station, Harbin Central Avenue Station, and Harbin Ice and Snow World Station, special mascot landmarks have been set up, creating a vibrant atmosphere for the upcoming games.
In terms of operational services, the metro group has conducted training on service etiquette and standards for station attendants, security checks, security personnel, property management, and maintenance staff, ensuring standardized attire, service protocols, and actions, along with courteous and considerate service.
Additionally, the metro stations have carried out emergency drills for handling sudden incidents. During these drills, the stations collaborated with firefighting, public security, emergency rescue, and public transportation departments.
