As the weather gradually warms up for spring, different regions under the administration of the State-owned China Longjiang Forest Industry Group in Heilongjiang province have welcomed the returning migratory white-headed cranes, Chinese mergansers, herons and wild geese.
Locals have spotted them flocking together and chasing each other in the sky or circling and landing to rest and search for food along the rivers, forming a serene sight.
With the improvement of the ecological environment in recent years, the group's forestry areas have become an ideal habitat for numerous migratory birds.
Every year, the birds return in late March, bringing vitality to the forestry area and representing nature's best feedback on improving the ecological environment.
