Since March, the flower appreciation economy and the spring economy in Jining have been gaining popularity.
Rencheng district has intertwined flower appreciation with the sale of local specialties. Visitors have the opportunity to wear elegant hanfu attire as they wander through the flower-filled landscapes.

The third cherry blossom festival at the botanical garden in Rencheng district not only offers hanfu-wearing experiences, but also includes cherry blossom markets and traditional Chinese games. Additionally, the festival provides booths with unique foods, children's painting activities, and opportunities to experience intangible cultural heritage.
The spring economy not only boosts consumption but also contributes to rural vitalization. At the strawberry picking garden in Rencheng district's Nanzhang sub-district, visitors can wander among the greenhouses as they pick strawberries.
"We have 10 greenhouses for strawberry cultivation. During the Qingming Festival holiday, we welcome over 500 visitors daily, selling around 500 kilograms of strawberries," said local grower Liu Qiheng.
Liu's strawberry picking garden in Jining's Rencheng district has cultivated over 30 mu (approximately 2 hectares) of strawberries, yielding nearly 1 million yuan ($138,164.36) in annual revenue.
