On the first day of the 135th session of the China Import and Export Fair, over 60,000 overseas offline buyers were welcomed, CCTV news reported on Monday. This represents an 18.5 percent increase in participation compared to the same period of the previous session.
The event, also known as the Canton Fair, showcases advanced manufacturing achievements, with over 1 million new products expected to be displayed onsite from April 15 to May 5 in three phases.
Covering a total exhibition area of 1.55 million square meters, the fair features about 74,000 booths and the participation of 29,000 exhibiting companies.
