VOYAH – a new energy vehicle (NEV) brand affiliated with China auto giant Dongfeng, reported total sales of 16,345 vehicles during the first quarter of this year, up 188 percent year-on-year.
The brand, based in the Wuhan Economic & Technological Development Zone (WEDZ), has already successfully entered the market in Norway, the Netherlands, and Denmark, and is poised to enter the German, French and Italian markets this year.
In less than three years, VOYAH has independently developed three production models – FREE, DREAM and PASSION. In 2023, VOYAH's sales surged seven times, with over 50,000 vehicles sold by the end of that year, ranking first among other NEV makers in WEDZ. So far, VOYAH has registered 2,789 authorized patents.
With the construction of a 5G fully connected factory, VOYAH will integrate 5G with technologies such as the internet of things, big data, and AI. Its design platform has integrated research and development design data flow and virtual simulation technology, which has reduced the vehicle R&D cycle from 36 to 24 months.
