The competition consisted of six categories, including a senior group, a U23 group, and a youth group. There were a total of eight representative teams including national teams, Guizhou teams, and Yunnan teams, with 57 individual athletes participating in the event.
By leveraging its mountain features, the park designed its mountain biking track to include forest trails, open fields, gravel paths, dirt roads, jump points, various elevation changes, and S-shaped bends, all of which provided a rigorous challenge for the competing athletes.
After intense competition, Wang Sheng and Yang Mingxue from Guiyang, capital city of Guizhou, respectively, won first place in the men's U23 and women's youth categories. They earned the opportunity to represent China at the 2024 Asian Mountain Biking Championships.
