China-Europe freight train (Xi'an) makes 1,000th trip in 2024

The X8155 China-Europe freight train, loaded with daily necessities, auto parts, cosmetics, and other goods, departed from the Xi'an Guogang Railway Station, on March 29, heading westward to Duisburg, Germany.

This trip marks the 1,000th trip for the China-Europe freight train (Xi'an) in 2024, an increase of 107 trains when compared to the same period in 2023, representing a 12-percent increase.

Notably, on Feb 9, Xi'an Guogang Railway Station saw a record-breaking single-day operation of 18 freight trains, marking the highest daily record in the station's history.

Currently, the goods transported by the China-Europe freight train (Xi'an) cover a wide range of categories, including electronic products, mechanical parts, textiles, metal products, plastic products, vehicle parts, equipment, furniture, leather products, toys, and glass products. It also transports high-value-added products, such as jewelry, aerospace products, road equipment, ship structures, and mineral fuels.

Since the beginning of this year, China Railway Xi'an Group Co has strengthened its cooperation with related companies to increase the operation of its freight trains. Currently, 18 international transportation routes have been opened, establishing an international trade logistics network that is characterized by low cost, high efficiency, and excellent service.
